4/24/2004   ...it's Saturday...whuhoo!!!I'm pushing myself to hard at work. My discs are getting steadily worse, not better. Shirley seems to get some sick pleasure in reminding me that surgery is my next (and last) option. I mean, I was perfectly happy when vicodin was still masking the pain, and I could work ten hours at the drop of a hat...but even that doesn't work any more... Shirley and I and Halley and Ian went to Ian's volleyball games in Granby. After his first set of games we went to Remington's to grab a quick (very !!!) bite to eat, and then Shirley dropped us off back at the school and then went to visit her friend, Nicki. As I was walking in, the interior decorator of the house in Grand Lake that we are spending a lot of time on caught up to me and began to praise my work, saying that I continue to outdo myself with each group of pieces that I turn out. It was nice to know that my efforts are recognized.
