2/28/2004   hmmm...woke up at 2:00 a.m. this morning only to discover (by stepping in) puddles of pooh all up and down the hallway.. not sure the species of the feces...but I'm guessing dog by sheer s.o.p. (size of puddles) and amount. Since I have somehow inherited responsibility for all things doggy, I resisted the urge to yell and scream loud enough to wake half the house, so that I could then badger someone else into cleaning it up...okay, okay...I harbored that thought for only a second...hmmm..well...maybe for a few moments.. anyway, I did my best to clean (read: cover) it up. At least now it smells more like Mr. Clean than that other smell... ...and so now it is 4:15 a.m. and I must be tired 'cause I am too lazy to get up and throw some wood in the stove, and my stomach is growling but there is no "fast food" to feed it ...can I hold out long enough and get up the strength to go to town and pick up donuts when the store opens at 7:00 a.m. ?
